Picture
Burglary and thefts at small businesses are a constant challenge. In 2023, KTLA reported, "For the fifth year in a row, Los Angeles has the dubious distinction of being the number one city in the nation when it comes to organized retail theft." The large windows on retail establishments and some office buildings can lead to an increased risk of theft, but safety film can provide better security to protect your business.

1. Added Privacy

Not all security threats are obvious, nor do all robberies involve the theft of a physical object. Data and account theft, along with identity theft, are a real risk for both your business and your customers. Both interior and exterior windows can lead to a risk of such theft.

Concerns

As computer security features improve, some thieves are turning to old fashioned methods. This can include looking through office windows and snapping photos of personal information or payment details when staff are working on a computer or ringing up a customer. This type of theft can be hard to trace, so often major losses have occurred before the affected parties even know the theft happened.

Options

Several types of window films can prevent data theft. Darkly tinted windows provide one option, since they block the view into the building. There are also highly reflective films that prevent photographs thanks to the glare. Both of these types have the added benefit of improving energy efficiency, as well. A third option is graphic films, which provide data privacy and advertise your business.

2. Break-in Prevention

Large retail or office windows can provide a tempting point of quick entry for a burglar. Even those windows that aren't designed to open can be broken. Not just display windows are at risk, either. Glass doors or small pocket windows near the door can also be a break-in risk.

Concerns

No business owner wants to deal with a break-in and theft. Further, broken glass can cause a mess and ruin items inside your building. Yet, the alternative of putting bars or a grate over the window to protect the glass can ruin the curb appeal and appearance of your business. Balancing the need to maintain a welcoming environment while providing ample security is a challenge.

Options

Fortunately, there is a window film option specifically for minimizing break-in risk. Safety films provide sufficient clarity so as not to detract from the windows, but at the same time they reinforce the glass so that it is breakage resistant. If the glass shatters during a break-in attempt, the film holds the glass shards together in a firm sheet so that they stay in place instead of exploding onto the property. Criminals know there is a very short time window to be able to get in and out before the police arrive. So instead of being able to quickly run in and out, safety film forces the vandal to give up and run away empty handed before getting caught.

3. Vandalism Deterrent

Vandalism can take several forms. Like the most pervasive type is graffiti, and a business can be a tempting target due to the large blank walls and windows combined with typically being empty at night. Other types of vandalism include shooting out windows or hitting them with heavy objects simply for the sport of breaking the windows.

Concerns

Graffiti can be more than a nuisance, and it can be difficult to get the paint off the window. Graffiti removers may even etch the glass as some are quite caustic. Broken windows can leave your building open to burglary, as well. Further, obvious signs of vandalism can have the effect of drawing more crime, and sometimes more serious crime.

Options

There are two types of window films that work well for preventing vandalism. The first is the security film mentioned previously. The second is an anti-graffiti film which acts an a barrier on the outside of the window so when it is tagged, the film simply needs to be replaced at a fraction of the cost of replacing the glass.

<![CDATA[Protect your lawn/artificial turf from melting]]>Mon, 30 Oct 2023 19:20:00 GMThttp://addoutlook.com/blog/protect-your-lawnartificial-turf-from-meltingIf you have Low-E energy-efficient windows, it could cause your artificial turf to melt or your real grass in your lawn to burn and get bald spots. This is because these energy efficient, Low-E windows have a very reflective coating on the outside. The hot sunlight bounces off the window onto the lawn causing it to burn or melt as soon as the first week of having it installed!
That's where we come in. Non-reflective ceramic window film can help protect your investment. If you have energy efficient/Low-E windows, we should install a non-reflective film on the outside of the windows before the artificial turf is put down. There's no way to know exactly what angle of the sun at what time of year can cause the damage. That's why we strongly recommend getting it installed before you install the artificial turf to prevent your brand new lawn from getting ruined.

We recommend 35%, 50%, or 70% non-reflective ceramic film installed on the outside of the window to reduce the glare onto the turf. 50% is the most common. It will also block about half the heat from the sunlight coming through the windows, making your home more energy efficient as well.
In order to provide a quote, we'll need pictures and measurements of each individual pane of glass. You can text those to our designated texting number: 818-200-6657. Most of the time, second story windows are too high and don't need to be tinted. But it all just depends on the particular angle of the house and lawn. So I would recommend just starting with the lower level to see if that's all that's needed to protect the turf.

Please note:
We have over 25 years experience tinting homes, commercial buildings, vehicles, and more. We're been successfully installing Tintwork non-reflective ceramic film on the outside of home windows since 2018. This technique so far has prevented the artificial turf or real grass lawn from burning or melting. However, we cannot make any guarantees that it will work for every home because there are too many factors involved. For example, there could be something else on the house that could be causing some reflection. Or maybe the reflection is coming from your neighbor's house. Or it could just simply be the exact location or angle of your particular home and lawn which creates an extra magnifying-glass effect in an area. There's no way to know for sure, which is why we can't guarantee the film will work. That being said, we've had great success thus far with our window films.. We are quite confident that this installation will protect your investment as well as help make your home a little more energy efficient in the process. It's a win-win!

We're open Mon-Fri 8am-6pm and Sat-Sun 9am-2pm. Feel free to call us anytime to get a free estimate 818-473-9991.

<![CDATA[7 Benefits of Installing Window Tint in Your Home]]>Thu, 10 Mar 2022 00:35:21 GMThttp://addoutlook.com/blog/7-benefits-of-installing-window-tint-in-your-home
We all love the sun. But sometimes, it can be too much, and that's where window tint comes in. People often put sheers and shutters on our windows to reduce the sun's glare, but window tint is a more efficient and hustle-free option.

With window tints, you can keep the sun's glare from your home and keep yourself and your family safe from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. Read on to discover seven more benefits of window tint for your home.

1. Enhanced Energy Efficiency

The first benefit of window tinting is that it helps you reduce your energy bill. Bare glass windows allow heat from the sun to penetrate the house, raising temperatures. In many homes, 43% of the utility bill goes to cooling and heating costs.

With window tints, much of the heat from the sun is blocked, lowering temperatures in your house. Some tints, such as high heat rejection films, can block the sun from heating up your home. As a result, cooling costs for your home are significantly reduced because you don't need to constantly turn on the fans or air conditioning.

2. Aesthetics

If you're looking to redecorate, window tinting can be a great way to give your home a fresh new look. You can choose from a wide range of tints, from clear to dark, so you can decide how dark you want your windows to be. You can also choose decorative films to accessorize your home.

3. Privacy

Some window tints can also limit the view of your home from outside. If you'd like to keep people in the street from looking into your home, the mirror window tint is a great option. This can give you a better sense of comfort and privacy in your home.

4. Security

Everybody wants to feel safe in their homes, and installing window tint is a good way to boost security. Untinted windows are easy to break, so if a burglar wants to get into your home, they can easily break your windows to gain access. With window tints, you can make it harder for a burglar to enter your home.

Window tints will hold your window's glass in place for longer when someone is trying to break in, which can give you time to sound the alarm or call the cops.

5. Safety

When a tinted window is broken, the tint keeps the glass shards from scattering all over the place. This is an effective way to avoid accidents in the home. If you accidentally break your window, you can be confident that you and your family are safe from injuries from the broken glass.

6. UV protection

Exposure to UV rays contributes to various skin and eye problems. Frequent exposure to UV rays will cause your skin to age faster, accentuate wrinkles and fine lines, and cause other signs of sun damage, such as liver spots and dryness. Certain types of skin cancer, such as melanomas, can also result from UV radiation.

UV exposure can also cause eye problems, such as corneal damage and cataracts. Additionally, UV exposure may weaken your body's immune system and reduce the effectiveness of vaccines.

Tinting the windows of your home is the best way to protect you and your family from UV exposure.

7. Glare Reduction

Having the sun's glare on your phone, television, or computer can be annoying because it reduces visibility. Surfaces such as tiles and mirrors can also reflect the sun's glare, forcing you to squint on very sunny days. Window tints eliminate the blinding glare from the sun, allowing you to see comfortably.

<![CDATA[Questions and Answers About Anti-Graffiti Window Film]]>Thu, 11 Nov 2021 08:00:00 GMThttp://addoutlook.com/blog/questions-and-answers-about-anti-graffiti-window-film
Business owners and managers have a lot more to worry about than just the success of their store's everyday transactions, as you probably know all too well if your facility resides in a high-graffiti area. The efforts of local street artists to make themselves known at your expense can hurt business and require costly restoration work.

Fortunately, you can turn the destructive effects of graffiti from a devastating loss to a temporary annoyance thanks to a state-of-the-art product known as anti-graffiti window film. If you've never heard of anti-graffiti window film, check out the following questions and answers about this valuable protective product.

How Does Anti-Graffiti Window Film Work?

Anti-graffiti window film serves as an invisible barrier over your building's existing tinted or non-tinted windows. This multi-layered, optically clear film features a basic structure similar to that of solar window film. An adhesive layer on the window-facing side holds the film securely to the glass surface.

This special protective film doesn't actually make graffiti impossible to apply or make it disappear. Instead, it takes the brunt of the damage without the graffiti artist even knowing that the window enjoys protection. The company that installed the film can then simply peel away the defaced top layer and re-apply a fresh layer. If the vandal uses a knife or acid, the anti-graffiti film will provide a barrier preventing the glass from being damaged.

Why Does Anti-Graffiti Window Film Make More Sense Than Cleaning?

Traditionally, business owners or employees whose facilities were covered with graffiti had no choice but to clean off the offending paint. However, some aspects of a building respond more readily to these efforts than others. For instance, if your painted wall were defaced by graffiti, you could simply repaint the wall.

Unfortunately, glass presents special challenges in regard to graffiti removal. Techniques such as the use of a razor blade to scrape away the paint can easily etch lines and grooves into the glass. Cleaning agents such as turpentine or paint thinner can also damage glass surfaces unless you exercise extraordinary skill and care.

Anti-graffiti window film removes those potential dangers from your cleanup process. Simply remove the window film, and you'll see a pristine window surface underneath. This strategy also eliminates the expense of purchasing cleaning supplies or engaging a skilled professional to perform the delicate cleaning work.

What Options Can Anti-Graffiti Window Film Include?

If your facility's windows already have colored tint or UV protective coatings, it's most likely on the interior side. Clear anti-graffiti film is perfect for installing on the exterior side of the window to protect against vandals.. If you don't have anything installed on the glass yet , we have a specialty film that does both heat rejection and graffiti protection.

You don't have to limit your use of anti-graffiti film to your exterior windows. This film can also protect virtually any glass surface against graffiti. This versatility allows you to safeguard interior structures such as glass display cases, elevators, mirrors or other interior windows.

Who Should Consider Installing Anti-Graffiti Window Film?

You should give serious thought to installing anti-graffiti window film if your business's neighborhood frequently suffers from attacks of vandalism and destruction of public property. The issue grows even more urgent if you can't afford to stay open 24 hours or post security guards during closing hours. Replacing tagged anti-graffiti film can cost 1 tenth of the cost to replace the whole window which saves your business from losing profits.

The installation of anti-graffiti window film in a graffiti-prone business district can have effects that last far beyond protection from individual attacks. As perpetrators see their graffiti disappearing from businesses almost as fast as they can create it, they may give up on those facilities and take their attempts at self-expression elsewhere.

Every business should also use this film for safety reasons. A strong earthquake will shatter glass windows. Anti-graffiti film with hold all those broken pieces of glass together. It makes clean up a snap while keeping everyone safe from cutting themselves on those sharp pieces.

Add Outlook Window Tinting Services can equip your commercial building with anti-graffiti window film as well as many other window film options. Take a look at our wide range of products and our gallery of satisfied client photos, and then contact us to place your order.

<![CDATA[4 Residential Window Tint Myths Dispelled]]>Thu, 30 Sep 2021 14:56:34 GMThttp://addoutlook.com/blog/4-residential-window-tint-myths-dispelled
Window tint doesn't just add privacy, comfort, and UV filtering to cars — it can offer the same benefits to your home. However, even if the thought of tinting your residential windows appeals to you for these and other reasons, you may have held back from actually taking the plunge based on some common misconceptions.

You may feel much more enthusiastic about adding window tint to your home once you take a closer look at the objections surrounding residential window tint, especially when you see how little weight these objections actually hold. Take a look at the truth behind four myths regarding residential window tint.

1. Window Tint Will Spoil the View

Individuals unfamiliar with the sheer range of available window tint products might assume, based on the deep, dark tint on their car windows, that they'll see nothing but gloom when they try to look through tinted residential windows. While you can certainly purchase dark tint for your home, you have many lighter options as well.

Window tint comes in a variety of visible light transmission ratings, expressed as a percentage of how much visible light the tint allows into the home. You can purchase a tint that barely reduces the incoming light at all if you so choose. Even with these very light tints, the underlying film still blocks harmful UV rays.

2. Window Tint Costs Too Much

Many homeowners hesitate to add much-needed tint to their windows because of the perceived expense. Nationwide, the average home window tint installation costs $587, with prices ranging upward and downward based largely on the number, size, and style of the windows receiving the tint and on the choice of product.

You can control much of this expense by making some smart product and installation choices. For instance, you'll pay considerably less for a standard window tint than you would for smart window tint (which grows lighter or darker in response to ambient light). You can also save by avoiding ceramic tint, usually the priciest choice.

You also have control over which (and how many) windows you decide to tint. Tint installation on oddly shaped windows will usually require more effort and, therefore, cost more than tint installation on standard square or rectangular windows. You may decide to tint only the more conventional windows that receive direct sun exposure.

Don't forget to consider the savings you can enjoy by installing tinted windows. Studies have shown that window tint can reduce energy consumption by up to 30 percent by stabilizing indoor temperatures. Over time, your residential window tint investment should pay for itself and then some.

3. Window Tint Harms Indoor Plants

If you love and nurture a collection of indoor plants, you might naturally assume that any kind of window film (tinted or non-tinted) that blocks a certain degree of sunlight would harm your flora. You might even have gotten this idea after seeing a neighbor's plants start to wilt following a window tint installation.

In reality, window tint doesn't do any lasting damage to houseplants. Most residential and commercial window tints focus on blocking out the infrared red that transmits heat energy as well as the UV radiation on the other end of the scale, while blocking only a percentage of the visible light that nourishes plants.

Plants do indeed tend to wilt a bit whenever you change the amount of incoming visible light that they've grown accustomed to. However, this effect should reverse itself fairly quickly as the plants adjust to their new supply of everyday light and return to their former robust state.
As noted above, you have considerable leeway in choosing the amount of visible light your residential window tint filters. Ask your window tint provider for advice on what level of visible light transmission you should choose to keep your plants healthy.

Now that you can put some of the most common objections to residential window tint aside, select a window tint provider with the right skill, experience, and product lines to do the job right. Examine your options at Add Outlook Window Tinting Services, and then contact us with your residential window tint needs.

<![CDATA[Home Window Tinting Mistakes to Avoid]]>Wed, 25 Aug 2021 16:01:42 GMThttp://addoutlook.com/blog/home-window-tinting-mistakes-to-avoid
Window tinting has many benefits for homes, including reducing utility bills, enhancing aesthetics, reducing glare, and protecting home furnishings. As such, many homeowners are considering this valuable addition to enhance the look and feel of their spaces. Learn common mistakes to avoid when purchasing, installing, and maintaining tint products for optimal results a longer lifespan.

Selecting the Wrong Tinting Products

The best window tinting for your home meets your unique needs effectively. Therefore, before choosing a tinting product, determine what you want it to accomplish. Do you want enhanced privacy, UV protection, decoration, security, or fade protection? The window film you choose should help you achieve the desired goal.

A good film should be appropriately sized to fit your windows perfectly. An undersized or oversized film will be noticed for years to come. In addition, settle for the correct shade depending on the amount of light you need in your home.

Doing It Yourself

Although installing window film seems like an easy task, it is not, and not a suitable DIY project. It would be best if you let a trained and experienced professional handle it. They will install the film effectively and efficiently to ensure it looks good, meets its purpose, and serves you for a long time. They will also squeegee any bubbles for an excellent finish.
It is not uncommon for homeowners to clean their windows poorly before film installation, thus compromising the output. Your windows should be spotless – no dust, spots, smudges, and fingerprints during installation.

Using alcohol-based cleaners and other harsh chemicals is not advisable as it leaves residues that may affect the film's adhesion. A tinting professional can guide you on how to prepare your windows for film application.

Buying the Cheapest Film

Some homeowners select the cheapest window film in the market. While you may be saving money doing this, the film may fail to meet your needs and require premature replacement. For instance, a cheap film may not allow you to harness the energy-saving benefit of window films. Your best bet is a high-quality – not the most expensive – window film.

Do not forget to check the film's warranty and maintenance needs.

Failing to Research the Window Tinting Company

Window tinting companies are not equal; there are good and bad companies. The best way to differentiate the two is to do your research. You can establish a company's quality of products and services by checking their reviews and testimonials online. This gives you a glimpse of how the company interacts with customers and how well they work.

Do not make the mistake of settling for the cheapest provider. You may be disappointed by their substandard services or hidden costs. Similarly, avoid hiring a tinting company that does not specialize in homes. Some tinting companies focus on cars while others do commercials. Choosing a company specializing in residential window finishing assures quality installation and finish.

Ignoring Maintenance

Apart from proper installation, window films require maintenance to keep them looking good and function correctly. Unfortunately, most people do not care for their tinted windows correctly.

Start by cleaning your tinted windows regularly to get rid of dirt, dust, and debris and avoid stains. Use a soft microfiber cloth or squeegee since anything rough can cause scratches. Do not use harsh cleaning detergents as they can make the film wear faster and dissolve. Be cautious when cleaning the edges as they are vulnerable to damage.

It's incredible what a thin layer of film can do for your home. It enhances your home's beauty, safety, efficiency, and comfort. Avoid window tinting mistakes by contacting the experts at Add Outlook Window Tinting Services. We have 25 years of experience handling residential and commercial window tinting. <![CDATA[Top Signs Your House Needs Window Tinting]]>Mon, 26 Jul 2021 21:15:04 GMThttp://addoutlook.com/blog/top-signs-your-house-needs-window-tintingPicture

Home window tinting has numerous benefits, including blocking out the sun's UV rays. Thanks to technological advancements, today's tint options are more effective and less visible. Residential films come in various colors and decorative options. However, homeowners are often unsure of the right time to get window tinting. Listed below are some situations when you need window films.

You Suffer Headaches and Eye Strain from Glare

If your windows let in excess sunlight at different times of the day, you likely find it hard to focus on the TV or computer. Subsequently, working on your computer or browsing through the phone gets exhausting, and you might not enjoy TV shows as much.

Some homeowners install blinds to reduce glare and improve their comfort. However, this fix limits the amount of natural light in your home. Window tinting lets you enjoy natural light without glare. Window films are handy on west- and east-facing windows as they reflect most of the sun's light. As a result, you'll find it easier to work and watch TV.

You Have High Energy Bills

High energy bills can frustrate any homeowner, especially if you can't find the culprit. If you live in a hot locale, running the air conditioner is the only way to stay comfortable. However, a portion of your home's energy leaks through the windows, depending on their condition.

Window insulation is among the major benefits of window films. The tints absorb heat and UV rays and leave your house cool during summer. Window films can keep out about 84 percent of the sun's heat, meaning you won't run the air conditioner as much. In the cold season, the window tint can keep the house warmer and ensure you don't overwork the furnace.

Your Home's Interiors Have Sun Damage

Sun exposure can discolor, darken, and damage furnishings, antiques, artwork, and other household items. Similarly, sun exposure may be the cause of drying and fading leather furniture. Other items that are vulnerable to sunlight include photos, fabrics, and wallpaper. If there are rugs on your hardwood floors, there may be a patchwork of different colors on areas that are and are not shielded from the sun.

Window tints are a permanent remedy to UV rays that damage home furnishings. Thus, you don't need to move around your furniture, rugs, and artwork depending on the sun's location.

You Want Better Privacy

If your neighbors live close by, you're likely concerned about privacy. Standard windows also make it easy for thieves to see inside your home. With window tints, anyone standing outside your house only sees their reflection. Therefore, your house will be an inconvenient target for any burglars prowling the neighborhood. The best part of window films is they don't reduce your outside view, and you enjoy natural light without compromising privacy.

You Are Tired of Window Maintenance

If you constantly clean water spots from your windows when it rains, it's best to get window tints. Standard windows are also prone to scratches, unlike scratch-resistant films. Moreover, birds commonly fly into clear windows and can leave significant damage. In contrast, birds can easily discern window tints as solid objects, which protects your windows from chips and cracks.

You Need to Upgrade Your Home's Exterior

Window tints are a simple way to increase your home's curb appeal. There are decorative tints with a variety of frames and borders, patterns, and colors. Some options even let you add customized text. Also, there are stained, textured, and frosted varieties for the contemporary homeowner. Unlike landscaping or painting, decorative tints are a low-maintenance way to spruce up your home's exterior.

Window tints are your best line of defense against harmful UV rays, damaging heat, and indoor glare. At Add Outlook Window Tinting Services, we customize window film solutions depending on the amount of light you want in your home. Call our window tinting experts today for a free quote.

<![CDATA[Is Professional Window Tinting Worthwhile for Your Business?]]>Fri, 04 Jun 2021 15:30:18 GMThttp://addoutlook.com/blog/is-professional-window-tinting-worthwhile-for-your-business
Homeowners and business owners primarily used window films for heat and glare reduction. But as the years go by, manufacturers keep adding onto their features, starting with their durability and ease of maintenance.

If you're contemplating whether commercial window tinting is worth your investment, learn a few reasons why you should invest in window tinting for your business.

It Reduces Energy Costs

Window tinting indirectly lowers your energy bills by either blocking glare, heat, and UV rays emitted by the sun or acting as a heat insulator. Your HVAC system works to keep your commercial space cool or warm, depending on the season, but with the window film, your HVAC unit won't have to work so hard.

During the summer, the tint will block UV rays and heat from the sun up to 65 percent because of its high infrared reflectance. So, your air conditioner won't have to strain to keep the room cool. During winter, the window film will act as a heat insulator retaining the heat within the room so you won't have to crank up your AC.

By lowering the usage of your AC, you save on energy costs.

It Decreases Heat and Glare

Depending on the type of film you choose, you can block between 65 percent to over 80 percent of heat and glare; this is especially true for solar window films and sun protection films.

Window tints can also reduce light reflection and glare, which can be quite a relief, especially for those who are photosensitive. The tint will block light, which minimizes squinting; hence, allowing for a pleasant working environment.

It Provides Privacy

Window films provide privacy by reducing glass visibility. Like tinted windows in cars, commercial window films can have the same effect where you rarely see past the film. You can also get a frosted/ translucent film where visibility is blurred or a mirrored window tint which blocks visibility entirely, as long as the light difference between the two sides of the window is six to ten times greater.

It Adds an Aesthetic Appeal

Window films can add to the exterior appeal of the business since there are a variety of films. There are various shades of black offering light in different percentages. Some window glaze doesn't even have dye but offers other benefits such as heat protection.

Lastly, you can choose decorative window films or custom graphics, which you can use to advertise your business.

It Protects Against the Sun's Harmful UV Rays

Tinting your windows can protect your staff and customers from the sun's harmful rays. As you know, the sun emits UVA and UVB rays which can cause aging and burning of the skin, not to mention, can be a hazard for those who have skin problems such as cancer. Therefore, adding a film to your windows ensures your building occupants are safe from sun exposure.

Additionally, sun protection can prevent property damage such as fading of your furniture, floors, wall paint, electric office equipment, and any window treatments you might have done.

It Offers Safety

Lastly, the window tint added to your windows can ensure the safety and security of your building occupants if and when an incident occurs by holding together broken pieces of the glass window. Note that the film doesn't prevent the breakage of the glass; instead, it only holds down the pieces, so glass shards don't go flying about, injuring people.

Such window films are made of heavy gauge polyethylene terephthalate which can withstand strong impacts such as wind storms, hurricanes, and even bomb blasts.

Elevate your business by investing in commercial window tinting; they're safe, energy-efficient, aesthetically appealing, and provide for a comfortable working environment.

DIY can be great. It's exciting and creative and often costs less. But some things are better off left to the professionals.
Window tinting seems simple; you get a film from your local store, cut it out, and adhere to the interior of your windows, right? Actually, the job needs skill, time, and knowledge. Discover five reasons why you should hire a professional to install your home's window tinting.

1. High-Level Expertise

Window films come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and decorative choices. They will offer different and enhanced benefits such as higher energy efficiency, more security, better temperature control, enhanced UV protection, and reduced glare.
With a professional, they have the experience and knowledge that can guide you on the best type of tint for your windows.
Moreover, you have different types of window glasses such as annealed, tinted, and insulated. They, too, will require varied treatments as they have different thermal stress retention. If you apply any window film from the store to the wrong type of glass, it might cause window damage, ultimately invalidating your window manufacturer's warranty.

2. Quick Project Completion

Installing the window tint requires a series of steps from cleaning the windows, measuring and cutting the film, adhering to the film, eliminating bubbles, trimming, and removing excess moisture. What you thought would be a weekend project can easily turn out to be a week's project or even a month's project.
Professionals can save time since they have the right tools and skills for the job. Their experience and practice allow them to work efficiently through your home windows in no time.

3. Money-Saving Benefits

Direct costs favor DIY since you incur the labor costs, and you can choose less expensive films for your windows. However, you may incur a lot of material waste during installation because DIY often entails trial and error.
Furthermore, if you apply a less expensive film now, you're more likely to replace it in just a few years. These recurring costs will cost you more money than a one-and-done project.
Such replacement costs are avoidable by hiring pros to use the best-quality film that will last you for years to come. Again, time is money.

4. Quality Service and Results

Professional services offer just that — professionalism and quality. So many things could go wrong if you decide to do the installation by yourself. For example:
 • The film could adhere wrongly, trapping dirt and dust particles between the film and the glass.
 • You could measure and cut out the tint with the wrong measurements.
 • The film could get wrinkles and bubbles, and you wouldn't know how to smoothen it out.
Such mishaps will cost you time and money, which you don't want to lose. Avoid such by contacting pros who will ensure their services result in comfort, privacy, long-term savings, and added style to your home.

5. Long-Lasting Benefits

Professionally installed window film comes with a manufacturer's warranty that could last a lifetime. They trust the quality of their work and believe that their product will serve you for years to come.
On the other hand, with DIY installation, you risk damage to the windows and could easily void your current manufacturer's warranty. Manufacturers aren't usually liable for damages from adding modifications to your glass panels, such as window tinting. Therefore, choose professionals who can offer window tinting treatments with a long manufacturer's warranty.
Window tinting offers many excellent benefits. But for you to experience them, you need trusted professionals who provide unbiased advice, timely installation, quality service, and results and won't void your manufacturer's warranty.
