TIPS FOR CHOOSING THE RIGHT FILM
There's a few things to consider when choosing the right film for you. The darker and more reflective the outside of the film, the better the heat rejection. Ask yourself 3 questions:

Mirrored outside

Maximum Heat Rejection and Privacy:
Our Secret 3 "One-way mirror" film is the most popular because it rejects 80-85% of the heat, 99% UV protection, maximum glare reduction, and provides the most privacy because the outside of the window is 54% reflective. However, you will lose your privacy at night, if you have the lights on inside and it is dark outside.

Tintwork Secret 15
Need something a little lighter? Our Secret 15 allows 15% light through the window while still blocking 60% of the heat. The outside part of the film is 37% reflective for privacy. (Plain glass is naturally 8% reflective) If privacy is your number one priority, you might not be able to choose any lighter than this one. |

Reflection 35 and Reflection 50
These silver films are great medium to light choices that are popular for customers that are looking for some privacy, but don't want to give up too much natural light. Reflection 35 is 40% reflective and blocks 60% of the heat Reflection 50 is 35% reflective and blocks 56% of the heat If privacy is important, we recommend you test a sample piece on your window first and stand outside to make sure it provides the privacy level you need. Once again, all our reflective films only provide daytime privacy. When the lights are on inside at night, people will be able to see through. |

No reflection: We have an amazing ceramic film that is 70% light with 49% heat rejection. It's perfect for customers who want most of the natural light to come through the windows without the heat. Regardless of shade, all window films create an extra layer of insulation saving you money on utilities all year round! |
