TIPS FOR CHOOSING THE RIGHT FILM
There's a few things to consider when choosing the right film for you. The darker and more reflective the outside of the film, the better the heat rejection. Ask yourself 3 questions:
1. How much natural light do you want allowed through the window?
2. How much privacy (reflection) do you want?

Maximum Heat Rejection and Privacy:
Our Secret 3 "One-way mirror" film is the most popular because it rejects 80-85% of the heat, 99% UV protection, maximum glare reduction, and provides the most privacy because the outside of the window is 54% reflective. However, you will lose your privacy at night, if you have the lights on inside and it is dark outside.

Need something a little lighter?
Our Secret 15 allows 15% light through the window while still blocking 60% of the heat. The outside part of the film is 37% reflective for privacy. (Plain glass is naturally 8% reflective) If privacy is important, you can't choose any lighter than this one. |
